Nunja - nicht sonderlich viel passiert in letzter Zeit - oder kann ich mich nur nicht mehr dran erinnern? Schwierig zu sagen… ;-)

Jedenfalls war ich gestern auf dem Trail Of Dead Konzert - muss ja ehrlich sagen dass ich die Band vorher nicht kannte. Hat aber echt verdammt Spaß gemacht! Am Wochenende geb ich mir nochmal Ellen Allien. Was auch viel Spaß gemacht hat ist das hier: Nochma thx an little für die Links - einfach nur geil!!!

Son ein Kramz kommt natürlich auch im Office gut an. ohhohooohooo! Nunja… ;-)

Just watched the final of the snooker Masters in the Wembley Arena. The rocket is back! Impressive performance! If you are not too familiar with snooker - check Ronnie’s unforgettable maximum break at the Crucible! A record for eternity!

I have mentioned it a couple of times before - Dublin is just a fecking rip off city. No doubt about that. No wonder it ranks among the most expensive cities on this planet. And you know what? It really feels as if everything is getting even more and more expensive. I am in line there with Dermott Jewell, chief executive of the Consumers’ Association of Ireland:

It really doesn’t matter what element you use to approach and assess the city it has become expensive, it has stayed expensive and it will continue to be expensive

I mean - if sun cream costs twice as much in Dublin as in St. Tropez - what the f*ck?

More facts? Sure: Check this one: Grafton Street is the sixth most expensive street in the world! The Champs Elysées rank on position 3 and the winner is the 5th Avenue in New York. I am fine with Paris and New York - but Grafton Street!? No doubt it ranks there because of the extraterrestrial rent - but where is the flair? And it’s so tiny at the end…

Wanna visit Dublin? Its fun for a few days but also be aware of the fact that Dublin is the second most expensive place to visit on earth!

Jaja, ist klar - also heute ist wirklich der allerletzte Tag an dem man diesen Spruch noch bringen kann - aber ich wollte ja auch eigentlich schon gestern bzw. vorgestern usw. posten - hat aber natürlich nicht hingehauen. Grund is relativ simplel: ich war einfach zu platt - wieder richtig arbeiten gehen nach ner Weile frei ist verdammt happig muss ich sagen…

Mittlerweile gehts wieder - aber die ersten beiden Tage - puuuh. Nunja - Schnitzel war ja über Sylvester da - hat Spaß gemacht! Wir haben z.B. den Howth-Cliffwalk gemacht - für mich das zweite mal. Jaja - danach ist man platt :]

Ansonsten haben wir Konzert-technisch Alec Empire, Doc Scott und Fabio gesehen. Fabio war zwar cool, aber gegen Grooverider oder Roni size iss halt live nix zu machen - zumal auch relativ wenig los war. Alec Empire war das erwartete Punk-Elektro-Hardcore-Geballere - mit Slayer-Einlagen. Hatte was :)

Demnächst poste ich auch mal wieder was sinnvolles… ;-)

Huhu alle! Bin wieder zurück in Dublin. War echt schön mal wieder zuhause zu sein. Thx Fraggle + Diät (schreibt man das eigentlich so?) und Julia fürs Abholen vom Flugi und alles andere. Habe in der kurzen Zeit superviele Leute wieder gesehen - war richtig cool. Leider habe ich aber auch viele viele viele andere verpasst… Sehr schade, aber es war beim besten Willen nicht mehr drin. Naja, hoffentlich beim nächsten mal :-)

Going back to Germany tonight! Hope to see some of you guys back home!

Verdammt lange nix mehr geschieben - Weiß gar nicht so genau an was es lag… Wahrscheinlich einfach zu lazy… Wie dem auch sei - Weihnachten steht vor der Tür. Alle Jahre wieder - im Office geht es relativ relaxed zu momentan. Wir hatten unsere Team-Activity für dieses Quater letzte Woche - wir waren Schlittschuhlaufen. Brrrrrr. Naja, ich steh ja eher so auf Beachsport. Wir haben uns dann in der “Eislaufhalle” - war an den Seiten offen - Schuhe geliehen und dann gings los - für mich allerdings nur 4 Runden - die verdammten Teile haben so finz gerochen und mir ist fast der Fuß abgefallen - hat echt mies gedrückt der Schuh - egal - ich hab mich dann mit Eva ins anliegende Cafe verzogen und Backgammon gespielt - war eindeutig besser. Danach gings in son Hotel zum 4 Gänge-Dinner. Sehr geil! Wir haben auch noch “gewichtelt” - die Bedingung war, ein “crap”-Geschenk zu regeln. Ich hatte bei der Verlosung Glück - und zog Oscar. Hehe - da er ja auch extrem auf Musik steht hab ich ihm die miesesten 15 deutschen 80ies aller Zeiten gebrannt… Ich bin stolz auf meine Collection - die ist so unglaublich schlecht - wahnsinn - Ich habe dann auch noch mit ihm um ein Pint gewettet, dass er es nicht schafft das ganze von vorne bis hinten durchzuhören! Safe bet! Ich mein, ein Spanier und miese deutsche 80ies…. =)

Danach hab ich mich dann mit Mattia abgesetzt - wir sind dann schnell ins Temple Bar Music Center gefahren - Dinosaur Jr. Konzi. Geil!

Am Wochenende ist dann offzizielle g-Weihnachtsparty - das wird bestimmt ziemlich fett. Letztes Jahr war ja auch ein ziemlicher Knaller. Ansonsten geht hier team-internes kicker Turnier ab - ich habe mit Hessam die Gruppenphase überstanden, das Viertelfinale gewonnen und heute waren die Halbfinales - natürlich während der Arbeitszeit. Was für ein geiles Match zwischen Tomás/Emanuele vs. Adien/Eric. 10:9 - 8:10 und in entscheidenden Satz (2 Punkte unterschied) 21:19!!! Hammer game. Danach war ich mit Hessam dran: 10:9 - 10:9 für uns! Finale ist morgen!

So true! Yeah - we love Dublin! Like people love an old heavily worn fecked up jumper - you just cannot get rid of it - it would break your heart! And then you hate yourself because of this attitude… ;-)

Anyhow - back to the comics - I was in a comic shop last week - trying to find a birthday present - success! Found a real cool one! And then I saw these Dublin comics - had a short look - and bought them. One was €10 the other one was good value: €3! The picture is taken from the cheaper one - black and white - nice style! Called “In Dublin City” - Have to admit: just had a short look - didn’t really read it yet - but time will come… actually pretty stupid to post something about the comics before reading them… whateva!

The second one looks quite ok as well “Streets of Dublin” - there are also some pdf samples (no direct link you leechas…) on dublincomics.com - and it comes with some good old Dublin slang, lads!!
